Frohes Neues!

Ich wünsche allen Lesern ein gesundes, frohes und erfolgreiches Jahr 2011, auch wenn es nun schon drei Tage alt ist.

Ein Vergleich, wie gross Australien ist: Hier in Perth hatten wir über Weihnachten und auch heute Temperaturen von über 40 Grad, mit ohne Regen und Wasserbeschränkungen. Dahingegen steht Queensland unter Wasser - Queensland ist das Bundesland an der Nord-Ost Küste, und eine Fläche so gross wie Deutschland und Frankreich zusammen ist zur Zeit überflutet weil dort soviel Regen runterkommt wie nie zuvor...

AS a comparison how big Oz really is, here in Perth we already had over 40 degrees on Christmas and today, without any rain but water restrictions. But on the other side of Oz Queensland is drowning - Queensland is the state on the North East Coast of Oz, and an area as big as Germany and France together is flooded due to heavy unprecedented rain...

Nochmal Bali

Nachdem ich mich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gemeldet habe, hier mal ein paar gaaanz aktuelle Bilder von mir von meinem Kurzurlaub in Bali diese Woche.
Mit dem Blog hier das hat sich jetzt umgestellt, nur leider nicht 100% korrekt. Die meisten Links funktionieren zur Zeit nicht, bis ich alles fertig umstelle.

After there wasn't a life sign from me for quiet a while here some very up to date pictures from my short holiday in Bali this week.
The blog switched to the new system provided by Blogger, unfortunately not all is working perfectly again yet. Most of the links won't work till I fixed everything back up.

Nix geht mehr

Ich habe gerade mein Blog umgestellt weil Blogger die alte Funktion abgeschaltet hat - nur leider funktioniert nur die Haelfte aller Sachen jetzt. Anyway, ich lebe noch!

Just switched my blog around due to deleted features by Blogger and now half of the things aren't working anymore. Anyway, I'm still alive!

Guten Abend an alle, eigentlich wollte ich mich nur melden dass ich immer noch existiere und alles okay ist, nur im Moment nix spannendes passiert und ich zu faul bin die alten Sachen aufzuarbeiten.
Dummerweise hab ich jetzt eine Meldung bekommen, dass Blogger und Google morgen, das ist in zwei Stunden meiner Zeitrechnung, mein Blog abschalten werden weil ich ein veraltetes Feature nutze dass nicht mehr unterstuetzt wird. Wie es weitergehen wird weiss ich noch nicht, ich muss mich dann doch mal dieses WE hinsetzen und was machen.
Liebe Gruesse an alle immer noch fleissigen Leser, ich tret mir selber in den Hintern um hier mehr zu veroeffentlichen.

Good evening to all, I just wanted to say hello that I'm still existing, everything is okay, but, at the moment, nothing big is happening and I'm to lazy to work through the old stuff.
Unfortunately I got now a message that Blogger and Google are going to deactivate my Blog tomorrow, that's in two hours in my timezone, because I use a feature that's not longer supported. I don't know yet as how to proceed, I have to sit down this weekend and have a look.
Greetings to all my faithful readers, I gonna kick myself to publish more.

Update

Bevor der ganze Monat vorbei ist, schreibe ich doch lieber mal schnell ein Update. Mein Schlawiner- und Faulenzerleben ist seit Donnerstag den 11. Februar offiziel vorbei - und dabei hatte ich mich grad erst so schön dran gewöhnt.
Für alle die mit meinen Plänen etwas mehr vertraut sind und sich errinnnern können, wollte ich ja nach zwei Jahren Oz mich nach Neuseeland auf ein Backpackerjahr absetzen. Die zwei Jahre sind rum, aber ich bin immer noch Oz. Wie das? Nun ja, wie sich herausstellt, ist Australien ein wunderbares Land, und ich will etwas länger bleiben. Aus diesem Grund hab ich mich um ein neues Visa bemüht und habe es auch bekommen. Und das neue Visa erlaubt mir das arbeiten wieder, was dann der Grund ist warum ich nicht mehr auf der faulen Haut liege.
Ich bin wieder zurück im Computergeschäft, und arbeite wieder für Michael und seine kleine Firma, wo ich schon letztes Jahr gearbeitet habe und wegen der Visabestimmung nach den sechs Monaten gehen musste. Das neue Visa erlaubt mir unbeschränktes arbeiten, so dass ich diesmal länger bleiben kann.
Weil ich aber immer noch so faul bin, arbeite ich nur vier Tage die Woche, wir wollen es ja nicht übertreiben, oder?

Before the whole month has gone by without an entry I rather write a short update. My lazy life has officially ended on February the 11th - and I just gotten used to it.
For all who know my plans and can remember them, I wanted to go New Zealand after my two years here in Oz. But, two years have gone by and I'm still in Australia - how come? You know, I really love Australia, it's a beautiful country and I just want to stay longer. For this reason I applied for a new visa and was granted one, and this is the reason I'm not taking it easy anymore.
I'm back in the computer business and working again for Michael and his small company I already worked for last year but had to leave after six months due to the visa regulations. The new visa allows me unlimited work, so that I can stay longer this time.
But because I'm still lazy and life should be laid-back I just work four days a week, we don't want to overdo it, do we?
